2483160 - sp_checkreswords does not list "allow" and "deny" - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • The reserved words "allow" and "deny" are not registered when using "sp_checkreswords"
  • Error 156 returned when using "allow" or "deny" in DDL statements, for example 'create table allow (c1 int)' :

Msg 156, Level 15, State 2:
Server 'ASE16', Line 1:
Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'allow'.
