2483416 - "COMPUTE_INT_PLUS_OVERFLOW" shortdump occurs for program /SSA/BWT

Symptom

Within a managed/monitored system for which monitoring is configured via SAP Solution Manager 7.1, a shortdump occurs with the following details:

     Integer overflow during addition (type I or INT8)

What happened?
     Error in the ABAP application program.

     The current ABAP program "/SSA/BWT" had to be terminated because it found a
     statement that could not be executed.

Information on where terminated
    The termination occurred in ABAP program or include "/SSA/BWT", in
     "DETERMINE_DTP_FULL_DATA_VOLUME". The
    main program was "/SSA/BWT".

    In the source code, the termination point is in line 13158 of  program or
    include "/SSA/BWT".
    The termination is due to exception "CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW" occurring in
     procedure "DETERMINE_DTP_FULL_DATA_VOLUME" "(METHOD)".
    This exception was not handled locally or declared in the RAISING
    clause in the procedure's signature however.
    The procedure is in program "/SSA/BWT". The source code begins in line 13045 of
    (include) program "/SSA/BWT".
