2483629 - SUM 1.0. RUN_FDCS_SEGMENT. Segmentation error: could not segment table "RODPS_REPL_RID"

Symptom

During an upgrade with SUM 1.0 lower than SP20 PL3, the tool stops in phase MAIN_SHDRUN/SUBMOD_FDC_RUN2/RUN_FDCS_SEGMENT using nZDM option.

Inside FDCSSEGMENT_*.<SID> file, you find the following error:

A2EESCRR 005 "Parameter has invalid value: Parameter P_LENGTH ha""s invalid value 18 ."" "" "
A2EESCRR 005 "An exception with the type CX_PARAMETER_INVALID_RA""NGE was raised, but was not handled locally or dec""lared in a RAISING clause."
A2EESCRR_FDC 017 Segmentation error: could not segment table "RODPS_REPL_RID"
A2EESCRR 143 Process "1" aborted

In the shadow instance you will see a short dump happened in the same period similar to:
