2483738 - Portal hangs due to LDAP issues

• Enterprise Portal/Java pages hang
• Error in default traces :Caused by: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: (Read timed out (local port <nnnn> to address <IP Address> (hostname), remote port <nnnn> to address <IP address>  (hostname))).

• Thread Dump Analysis show  the DB is busy . For Example 
  • Used Application Threads: 10 (from 16) threads are reading from a socket
