Symptom

As of S/4HANA 1610, after creating a sales order and you want to search for a material using the extended material search option, you are getting an error related to TREX function :

  1. Error while searching. Message no. WSD_MESSAGE045
  2. Function TREX_EXT_SEARCH_DOCUMENT(2) is not supported on HANA
