Cause

The application error may be caused by MDF cache not been refreshed after the Mentoring enablement, preventing the MDF object creation, required by Mentoring.

Resolution

It may take some time for the MDF cache to be refreshed and the MDF objects required by Mentoring to be created, after Mentoring is enabled for the first time in your instance.

If the MDF Object is not correctly created in the instance, clearing the MDF cache is recommended. For more information on how to refresh Metadata Cache, you can refer to the KB Article 2171588 - SuccessFactors: OData API Metadata Refresh and Export.

In case the MDF cache refresh does not solve the issue, it is necessary to engage your Implementation Partner to run the job "MDF Object Definition To DB SYNC" in Provisioning. Customers has the possibility to directly run this job from the Admin Center, however the prerequisite is that it was previously created at least once from Provisioning. For more information, please check the KB Article 2534674.
