2484366 - Database Error while installing BO 4.2 SP3 on SQL Anywhere binaries on Linux

Symptom

  • The setupengine.log file reports the following errors:

    • Error: missing `server' JVM at `/sybase/BPP/sqlanywhere/bin32/jre170/lib/i386/server/libjvm.so'. Please install or use the JRE or JDK that contains these missing components.

    • Errcode 4: . /sybase/BPP/sqlanywhere/bin64/sa_config.sh; /sybase/BPP/sqlanywhere/bin32/dbisql -c "uid=dba;pwd=********;server=BI4_1496324445;dbn=BI4_CMS" set option PUBLIC.string_rtruncation="OFF"
