2484450 - GST Implementation in SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

 This document describe the availability & implementation of GST (New Indian Taxation System - July 2017) in SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer.

In SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer, there are two scenarios related to Pricing & Tax calculation (based on Business Configuration scoping):

• Internal Pricing: Tax calculation is out of scope if customer scope Internal Pricing in SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer.
• External Pricing: Taxes are pulled from ERP system integrated with SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer. This scenario is impacted by GST.

 In External Pricing scenario tax numbers of SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer are exchanged with ERP and hence require changes post GST rollout in India.

We have created new Tax Numbers (related to GST) for SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer systems which will be implemented in both 1705 & 1708 release.

• The Software Correction is expected to be deployed in 1705 release of SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer on 18th June 2017.
• The Software Correction will be available in 1708 release of SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer with standard upgrade.
• Once the Software Correction is available in SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer, exchange of GST tax numbers will be possible with ERP.
