2484644 - SQLDriverConnectW() may fail to connect ASE due to a 10351 error - SDK for SAP ASE

Symptom

SQLDriverConnectW() with SQL_DRIVER_COMPLETE may fail to connect ASE due to a 10351 error (Server user id %d is not a valid user in database '%.*s').

This problem may occur when :

  • The DriverCompletion parameter value of SQLDriverConnectW() is SQL_DRIVER_COMPLETE
  • SQLDriverConnectW() redisplays the dialog box
  • You change the database name and login ID on the dialog box.
