Resolution
What is executiveRuleViolation
Within the template xml you will see there is a standard column labelled "Flags" with column ID "executiveRuleViolation".
This is used in executive review to indicate employee records which are falling outside guidelines.
Additionally you may select option "Only show users with recommendations outside of guidelines" under Executive Review> Filter options to populate users outside guidelines.
In the UI you will see the column "Flags" as shown below.
Export file
Within the Executive review export, you will see this column as well with S, H etc.
Variable Pay
For Variable Pay templates the colour of flags will be as follows in Executive Review exports.
- Yellow = S In the export for Soft Stop
- Red = H In the export for Hard Stop
Compensation
For Compensation templates the colour of flags will show as follows in Executive Review exports
- Light Grey = S In the export for Soft Stop
- Dark Grey = H In the export for Hard Stop
If the employee is flagged, it means they are violating the Hard Limit or the High/Low Action of the Guidelines (merit, lumpsum, etc), or even the threshold rule configured for your template - if you have it configured.
The letter 'S' in the Executive Review is just a symbol to inform a specific employee is flagged.
Additionally, if you look at the Executive Review, you will notice the employees with an 'S' under the column 'Flags' in the export file, have a flag displaying under the first column 'Flags' as well.
Can this be hidden?
Yes, the flags from the UI and export can be hidden by updating the below section of code to "false".
