2485134 - Negative Free Capacity for Resource Load

You notice that Resource Load ABC is calculating a negative free capacity, as the Capacity is 0.

1. Go the Supply Chain Design Master Data Work Center.
2. Navigate to the Resources Tab.
3. Search for the Resource ABC.
4. Select the queried record.
5. Choose Edit button.
6. Navigate to the Operating Time Tab, you will learn the Recurrence Operation Days (Time).
7. Go to Supply Planning Work Center.
8. Navigate to the Resource Load View.
9. Search for the Resource Load ABC.
10. Select the queried record.

• In the Load Graph Tab, you notice that the system is planning production on days which are not checked in Resource master data.
• In the Load Table Tab, you see that for these days not checked in Resource master data, the system calculating negative Free Capacity.

Although you have maintained a different calendar for the location, the system only considers site working calendar to calculate resource load. The Location calendar and the resource calendar must be aligned in terms of working days and non-working days. In addition, the opening hours must be equivalent.

The system is working as expected.
