2485253 - UNX BI Universes features supported in SAP Analytics Cloud - Importing data from BI Platform Universes

You are creating models importing data from Universes in SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform. You want to know what features are supported in SAP Analytics Cloud.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2017

• Only universes with a single master business layer view are supported (universes with multiple business layer views are not)
• User locale is not respected in UNX data
• Display formatting in Lists of Values (LOV) is not respected
• Combined queries are not supported (cannot acquire Universe data, combine it with Excel data and then use the scheduler/refresh).
• Boolean values are not supported
• Query properties cannot be set from the query panel (e.g. max rows retrieved, max retrieval time, prompt order, etc.)
• OLAP universes are not supported (includes Microsoft Analysis Services, BW, BPC MS)
• HANA prompts are not fully supported (not all operators will work)
• Unable to browse UNX objects if the BOE user has no view rights over the Adaptive Connectivity Service
