2486224 - Copy SAP HANA Tenant DB To Another SAP HANA System Using Backint

Symptom

  • Copy the tenant DB of one SAP HANA DB system to another SAP HANA DB system using third party backups (backint). 
  • When following SAP HANA Administration Guide Copy a Database Using a Data Backup Only and Third-Party Backup Tools -> Step 6 "Specify Backint System Copy and specify the SID of the Source System that you want to copy", There is no option to specify the source system SID, only the location of the backup is open for entry.
  • The task results in error "Could not recover database".
