2486775 - Database and Enqueue metrics are missing in the Introscope for ABAP System

Symptom

In the Introscope Investigator the database and enqueue metrics are not being colllected as shown in the screenshot below:

In the SMDAgentApplication.log of the corresponding Diagnostics Agents the following error is shown:

Apr 27, 2017 6:15:22 PM [Thread[<SID> AbapSystem/60,5,WILYHOST_SCHEDU...] Error com.sap.smd.wily.hostagent.action.AbstractAction - run(): Action throws exception, will be terminated: <SID> AbapSystem/60
[EXCEPTION] java.lang.IllegalStateException: period is <= 0

The error usually happens after the restart of the Diagnostics Agents.

Missing metrics path:

Enqueue:

 <Hostname> -> SAP HostAgent Process -> SAP HostAgent SMDA<DA number> -> <SID> -> Enqueue

Metrics:

  • Current Lock Entries
  • Dequeue Requests
  • DequeueAll Requests
  • Enqueue Reads
  • Enqueue Rejects
  • Enqueue Requests 

Database: <Hostname> -> SAP HostAgent Process -> SAP HostAgent SMDA<DA number> -> <SID> -> Database -> Oracle

Metrics:

  • System-Event
