2487434 - Global Assignment Showing Twice in Org Chart

Symptom

Employee on Global Assignment appears twice in org chart.

Reproducing the Issue

Send an user on Global assignment, then navigate to the user in the org chart.

Cause

The employee has the same manager for both home and host assignments:

Resolution

This is expected behaviour due to the fact that the org chart is employment based, not person based. It is rather unusual to have home and host assignment with the same manager.

In the example below, employee on global assginment appears only once under their home manager:

That is because the manager is only assigned to employee's home assignment:
