How to cancel a partially delivered third party Sales Order and to change the Sales Order status from In process to Completed?

1. Go to Sales Order Work Center.
2. Go to Sales Order View.
3. Find for ABC.
4. Select Go.
5. Select Edit.
6. Select View All.
7. Navigate to Items tab.

You observe that Line item XYZ  is partially delivered and the remaining quantity need not to be delivered, Instead need to be canceled.

• ABC represents the ID of the sales order.
• XYZ represents the ID of the sales order item.

As the Sales Order is partially delivered and the remaining quantity is not delivered, hence the Status of the Sales Order is In process.

In order to cancel the remaining undelivered quantities for a line item  XYZ, follow the steps below.

1. Undo release and Cancel Inbound Delivery Notification for respective Line item XYZ.
2. Cancel Purchase Order Line item XYZ.
3. Set Reason for rejection for respective Sales Order Line item XYZ and Save the changes.

This will change the status of Sales Order status to completed.
