2487868 - A CDS Analytics Query hits Invalid Hint Error

Symptom

Run a trainsient query based on CDS view hits DB error:

Database returned the SQL code 468. Error text: hint error: invalid hint: incorrect syntax near "(": line x col xxx (at pos xxx)
RS_EXCEPTION 000

In the work process trace dev_w<nn> file you could see more details:

C SQLERRTEXT : hint error: invalid hint: incorrect syntax near "(": line 1 col xxx (at pos xxx)
....
C SELECT .....
......

C ..... FROM /* Entity name: xxxxx */ "xxxx" ... WHERE ....
C .... WITH HINT(RESULT_LAG ('hana_long'));
