2488194 - Changes to Time Information Fields in Job Information Trigger Recalculation Notifications to the User Making the Changes

After the b1705 release, if a change is made in the job information portlet to any of the time information fields (work schedule, time profile, time recording profile, etc..) which triggers a recalculation, then the log files are emailed to the person making the change.

Log File for Recalculate Absences (TLMTriggerRecalculation_USER_****)

FAQ:

• Is it possible to disable these notifications?
• Is it possible to edit the details in the notification template?
• Can we prevent certain employee groups from receiving these emails?

b1705 and onwards

It is not possible to disable / edit / control which employee groups receive these notification. Engineering have improved the user handling of the TLMTriggerTaskJob in the b1705 release. Before this release the user who created the job was not transferred to the other background jobs.

Now the user who is the owner of the scheduled TLMTriggerTaskJob will get the notifications of all time off and time sheet jobs.

In the case where these changes to the job information cause instant recalculation, the owner of the job is also the one who is making the changes. So this is expected behavior, it was just not possible until now.
