2488262 - "An unexpected error occurred. Please check the server log for details" upon executing an SDI flowgraph in XSA

Symptom

  • When you execute a flowgraph, it fails with an error message "An unexpected error occurred. Please check the server log for details"
  • In the developer mode of the web browser, you can see this URL had a 502 bad gateway error
    • https://<HANA host>:53075/sap/hana/cst/api/catalog/executeStatement/sqlMultiExecute
  • There are no other logs present in XSA, indexserver or dpserver reflecting this problem.
  • You can call and execute the underlying procedure from the database explorer.
