2489454 - Certificate Error in Interview Scheduling Outlook Integration - Recruiting Management

Error while configuring Outlook integration with Interview Scheduling.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

While configuring Interview Scheduling Outlook Integration, when user clicks on Verify button, error related to certificate is thrown on screen.

The error would read something like:

1. Invalid certificate path

2. Unable to find certificate path

3. Certificate Invalid  etc.

This is because the Integration requires that there is a secured connection between SuccessFactors and the client Outlook Exchange Server.

If the Exchange server is not running on SSL or if there is some problem with the SSL Certificate the above error occurs.

It is also required that SAP SuccessFactors is able to validate the certificate for secured connection, this is done only if the SSL certificate is from a trusted vendor.

In case if the client is using Self-Signed or Internal CA certificate, it will not be supported by SuccessFactors for Interview Scheduling integration. So the client must be having Exchange server running on certificate from trusted public vendor.
