2489998 - Clob data type Object not working in multisource universe from Launchpad

Symptom

  • When running/refreshing WebIntelligence document containing one CLOB object having long text as value from Launchpad and which is based on Oracle multisource universe, this error is displayed:

"The following database error occurred: (CS) "Unexpected behavior : com.sap.connectivity.cs.core.CSError: Bad Value for Field" .For information about this error, please refer to SAP Knowledge Base Article 2054721 on the SAP Support Portal. (IES 10901)(WIS 10901)".

  • Running/refreshing the report works fine from Webi Rich Client.
