2490125 - Learning permissions for ORD

Symptom

  • Learning domain in ORD is empty
  • Admin Domains such as "Curriculum Item Status" and "Scheduled Offerings Registration" are missing in ORD
  • User Domains such as "User Curriculum Item Status" and "User Scheduled Offerings Registration" are missing in ORD
  • Admin sees "Role based security prevents the viewing of this component." when checking report

  • Report Canvas on Detailed Reporting
  • SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to ORD >
  2. Detailed Reporting >
  3. Expand the Learning domain>
  4. No domain available.

Other possibility:

  1. Go to ORD >
  2. Detailed Reporting >
  3. Expand the Learning domain >
  4. User or Admin domains missing.

Cause

  • Learning configuration is not complete in ORD.
  • The user does not have ADMIN Workflows permission for Adhoc Reports in Learning.
  • The user does not have USER Workflows permission for Adhoc Reports in Learning.
  • The BizX/Learning user ID does not match the Learning admin ID.

Resolution

  • For Learning configuration not complete in ORD please refer KBA 2302065.

  • If the user cannot see ADMIN Learning domains follow the steps below:
  1. Go to Admin Center > Learning Administration >
  2. In Learning page go to System Admin > Admin Management > Search for the user > View the user > Assigned role> and check the Role ID assigned to the user >
  3. Then go to System Admin > Security > Role Management > search for the role and check if it has Ad Hoc Reports permission >
  4. The role must have Ad hoc Reports permission. If it does not have you can edit the role or create a new one and assign to the user.
  •  If the user cannot see USER Learning domains follow the steps below:
  1. Go to Admin Center > Learning Administration >
  2. In Learning page go to People > Users >
  3. Search for the user > View the user > View All> and check the Role assigned to the userThen go to System Admin > Security > Role Management > search for the role and check if it has Ad Hoc Reports permission >
  4. The role must have Ad hoc Reports permission. If it does not have you can edit the role or create a new one and assign to the user.
  • The BizX/Learning user ID does not match the Learning admin ID
  1. Go to Admin Center > Learning Administration >
  2. In Learning page go to People> Users  >
  3. Search for the user and check the user ID >
  4. Then go to System Admin > Security > Administrators >
  5. Search for the admin then check and compare the admin ID with the user ID.
