2490931 - Job Title is replaced by the Role Name from Families and Roles - Recruiting Management

• The external job title was replaced by the Role Name from Families and Roles.
• Tried to create a job requisition through Position Org Chart, and the external job title populated automatically with '###' (role name).

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

• Scenario 1:

1. Go to Recruiting tab > Job Requisitions
2. Select a job requisition > Job Profile
3. Select a new job role (e.g.: Analyst) and save
4. Go back to job requisition form, the job title is changed to "Analyst"
5. The Internal title also changes if you have selected it to be same as External Job Title

•  Scenario 2:

1. Go to Company Info > Position Org Chart;
   
2. Select the position you want to create a job requisition;
3. The job requisition will open to the fields be filled;
4. The external job title will be already populated with the role name.

When the job role is selected, the system will populate the data from the Role Name, Job Description, and Competencies areas of the Families and Roles library onto the title, extTitle, listingLayout, extListingLayout and competencies field IDs on the requisition.

The same happens when you're creating a job requisition from a position: they take the same information from Families and Roles.

You may change the value of the 'External Job Title' by changing the Role Name as shown below:

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Job Profile Content > Set Up Families and Roles;
2. Select the Role Name of the position;
3. Change the Role Name, and click 'Save Role'.
   
   

Or, you can manually change the job title back after selecting the job role in the job profile tab.
