2491023 - Synchronization fails with error codes -100027, -100024 and message Supplied entity type '<entityType>' does not match the content entity type '<entityType>'. - SCPms

After a successful application registration, the synchronization is not working and initially it logs that the application connection is not registered. 

Below error messages are visible in the logs:
