2491334 - Msg 15038 Cannot Drop Connection Database is the primary for some replication definitions - SRS

Symptom

  • In an SAP Replication Server (SRS) warmstandby system,  the standby connection has been dropped
     
  • When attempting to drop the connection to the Active Dataserver.Active Database (ADS.ADB) receive the following error:

    1> drop connection to ADS.ADB
    2> go
    Msg 15038, Level 12, State 0: Server 'SRS':
    Database 'ADS.ADB' is the primary for some replication definitions. Cannot drop connection to it.
