Symptom

  • Question: When CC Workflow Notifications are received, which page should the [[VIEW_LINK]] tag bring you to for MDF object changes?

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Workflows 
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Position

Resolution

The [[VIEW_LINK]] tag will navigate you to the respective pages:

  • User-based MDF workflows: directs you to the People Profile page of the subject user.

  • Non-user MDF workflows: directs you to either the Manage Data page (for Department-related and similar workflows) or the Manage Positions page (for Position-related workflows).

  • For notifications received by CC Role users:

    • If Redirect CC Users to Workflow Approval Page = No (default value): It directs CC Role users as mentioned above.

    • If Redirect CC Users to Workflow Approval Page = Yes: It directs CC Role users to the workflow details page.
