2491533 - AS Java is not accessible through HTTP

Symptom

  • Java server starts up, but you are not able to access it through HTTP.
  • When accessing the server's URL, a message similar to the following is displayed (depending on the browser):

  • The following record can be found in the traces (defaultTrace, dev_dispatcher or dev_icm):

Text: Cannot open HTTP server socket on port 50000 Check port for usage by another process.
java.net.BindException: Address already in use
