2492138 - Unable to Maintain Exchange Rate in Valid From Field

When maintaining Exchange Rates, customer cannot update date and time in the Valid From field. Error message "A data set XYZ, rate tyoe Default Exchange Rate Type already exists - Adjust quotation date DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS AM/PM UTC+n" is displayed on the screen. 

1. Go to General Ledger Work Center.
2. Edit Exchange Rate View.
3. Select Source and Target Currency.
4. Change the Bid Rate.
5. Click on Valid From field and Select the date and time.

The system displays error message: 'A data set XYZ, rate tyoe Default Exchange Rate Type already exists - Adjust quotation date DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS AM/PM UTC+n'

 This is expected system behavior. It is not possible to change the date of a row to a previous period.

If you want an Exchange Rate in a specific date, you may use the Add Row button instead of updating the same row.
