2493245 - My Team Performance, Report Shows Employees From Other Org Unit for Which you are not a Manager

You are the Manager (A) for Org Unit XX, however you are able to view Employees from Org Unit YY, in My Team Performance report as per below explained scenario:

1: If Employee (A) is the Manager for Org Unit XX, and Employees assigned to this Org Unit are B, C, D ( also is reporting line)

2: Also Employee (B) is the Manager for Org Unit YY, Employees assigned to this Org Unit are E, F, G ( also is reporting line)

3: Both of the Org Units XX & YY are child node of the same parent Org Unit, hence vertically parallel

 Currenlty Manager (A) can see all of these Employees ( B, C , D, E, F ,G) in his My Team Performance report.

This is expected system behavior.

The relative selects of Employees that is used for the report touches the select My Reporting Line and Me.

This relative select would also include the Employees of Manager of Org Unit YY in case his Org Unit is above or in another tree (independent of primaryor secondary assignment) following relative selects are supported.     

In HTML5 client you can find the description of the relative selects via mouse over on the relative select. My Reporting Line and Me, represents all the Employees of the complete reporting line in the Org structure of a Manager including the current user. Which is why Manager(A) is able to see Employee of Manager(B) under my team performance report. 

This is expected system behavior. See the below chart for more details: 

• My Workforce and Me->> Represents Employee-to-employee relationships ‘Supervises’, including roll up of all reverse directions ‘Works For’ plus the current user.
• My Direct Reports (for Managers)->> Represents all the Employees who report directly to me.
• My Teams (for Managers)->> Represents all the employees who report directly to me and employees who report to my direct reports.
• My Reporting Line (for Managers) and Me ->> Represents all the employees of the complete reporting line in the org structure of a manager including the current user.
• My Functional Line (for Managers) and Me ->> Represents all the employees of the complete functional line in the org structure of a manager including the current user.
• Employee- My User Name ->>  Represents the current user.
