2493679 - Employee Not Found to Be Assigned a Personal Corporate Credit Card

Symptom

You want to assign a Personal Corporate Credit Card to Employee ABC (ABC represents the Employee ID), however, when you search for the respective employee no records are found.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Travel and Expense

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Admin Work Center.
  2. Go to the Credit Card Tasks view.
  3. Click Manage Personal Corporate Credit Cards.
  4. Search for the respective Credit Card Number for which you want to assign Employee ABC.
  5. Click the Value Selection icon to open the search for Employee field.
  6. Search for Employee ABC.

System returns: 'No records found' message.

Cause

The contract of Employee ABC is not found because it is no longer valid, meaning he is a Past Employee, and by default the Employee search only searches for Current and Future Employees.

Resolution

In order to find the employee ABC in the search you need to search for Past Employees:

  1. Click the Value Selection icon to open the search for Employee field.
  2. Click Advanced button (right-hand side).
  3. Enter Validity Past Employees.
  4. Search for Employee ABC.

This time the employee is found and you can assign him to the credit card.
