2493851 - SAP CRM IC Timeout Counter not working

Symptom

After implementing SAP Note: "2303286 CRM-IC: Countdown clock available in IC Agent", customer gets the countdown clock available on CRM IC WebClient. However, the countdown clock is not reset after a roundtrip.
