2494021 - Status is not Automatically Changed After Return From Leave of Absence

Symptom

Employee staus is not changed and job history records are not created when return from leave of absence.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

Using time off functionality, if an employee enters a LOA an event reason is triggered, this places the employee in Paid Leave status until the expected return date, when the RLOA event reason should be triggered.

When this happens a new historical record should be created in the employee's Job Information, and they should be returned to Active status. But in some instances the RLOA event reason is not triggered and the employee remains in Paid Leave status.

Cause

Actual Return Date is not entered while requesting the LOA.

Resolution

There is no automation that triggers this event reason.  Instead the field Actual Return Date should be edited while requesting the LOA, once the actual return date is entered the job info is adjusted too.
