2494503 - Is it Possible to Hide the on-form Gap Analysis graphic when Using EZ Rater? - Performance Management

Symptom

Customers may wish to enable the EZ Rater interface without displaying the on-form gap analysis graphic.

Reproducing the Issue

  • In the form template XML, enable EZ Rater in the Competency or Objective sections with the configuration sect-mode="EZ-Rater".
  • When EZ Rater is enabled, the Gap Analysis graphic will display on the form by default:

Resolution

To remove visibility of the on-form Gap Analysis graphic, the following configuration can be added in the Competency and Objective sections to the last line inside </fm-sect-config>:

<ez-rater show-gap="false"/>

In the Latest Form Experience, a user can view the gap in the Goal, Skill, and Competency sections when either of the following conditions is met:

  • The user has permission to view the gap in the Gap Analysis section and also has permission for Ratings from Others. (Permission for the Gap analysis in Button permission is present.)

  • The user can't view the gap in Gap Analysis, but EZ Rater is used and show-gap isn't set to false.
