2494517 - Application Error while rehiring employee

Application error occuring while rehiring employees.

Successfactors - Employee Central

1. Admin Center -> Rehire inactive employees

2. Fill all the required details including the Time Information (In job information portlet)

3. Click on Submit and an application error pops up

This is a data issue as the hireDate field seems to be null in Job info.

hireDate is a field which can be configured in the datamodel. It is not filled per default if it was not configured from the start. So the field can be null.

If customer is having trouble identifying the affected records, there is a job in proisioning that can be run.

The Job is called "Initialize additional entry date fields in job info" which can be run from the provisioning and will fill the hire date if it is missing in the record.

Please get in touch with SAP Support who can assist in running the job if you do not have access to provisioning

CPS Team, please check Internal Memo for the error logs.

This is fixed in b1708 release therefore such errors will no longer happens after the release.
