• ASE reports Errors 624, 3914 and 12313:

Error: 624, Severity: 21, State: 1
Adaptive Server failed to retrieve a row via its RID in database 'db_name' because the requested RID has a higher number than the last RID on the page.

Error: 3914, Severity: 26, State: 1
Illegal internal transaction status. This is an internal system error.

Error: 12313, Severity: 21, State: 1
Internal error: Insert into page id 123456789 of index id 5 of table 'table_name' (id = 2345678) in database 'db_name' tried to replace undeleted RID (50242688,3) at slot 2 and ridposn 0.

• Causing log corruption that makes database recovery fail on startup with Error 12313.

• On restart, recovery fails with Error 12313 :

Started UNDO pass for database 'db_name'. The total number of log records to process is 123456.
Error: 12313, Severity: 21, State: 1

Database 'db_name' (dbid 16): Recovery failed. Check the ASE errorlog for further information as to the cause.
