Symptom

Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_GENCHECKS/BATCHCHK_GEN!
RDD* jobs ended with status canceled in SM37. The job log was in the following pattern.

Step 001 started (program RDDIT008, variant , user ID DDIC)
Log cannot be written (existence? authorization?)
Job cancelled
**************
