2496218 - Cannot Add Peers to a Career Path in the Career & Development Module

• Selected role already exists in the Career Path
• In the SAP SuccessFactors Career and Development module > Career Path, you wish to add a Peer Role to the current configuration:

When adding a Peer Role that already exists in the path:

The system gives a popup:

This is expected behavior as a Peer Role cannot be added to a Career Path which already contains that Role

Only a Peer Role which does not already exist in the Career Path may be added.

1. For example, select Peer Role from the dropdown > For example 'Financial Analyst':

2. Select Financial Analyist.
3. This does not exist in the above Career Path, so it will save correctly:
