2496218 - Career Path Error: Selected role already exists in the career path.

Users cannot add a role more than once to a career path in Career and Development.

Users cannot add more than two peers to a career path in Career and Development.

SAP SuccessFactors Career Development Planning

1. In the SAP SuccessFactors Career and Development module select Career Path
2. Click on "Add a Peer Role":
   
3. When adding a  role that already exists in the career path:
   
4. The system gives a popup:

This is expected behavior as a Role cannot be added to a Career Path which already contains that Role.

Only a role which does not already exist in the Career Path may be added.

1. For example, select  role from the dropdown > For example 'Financial Analyst':

1. Select Financial Analyist.
2. This does not exist in the above Career Path, so it will save correctly:

Note : A maximum of two peer roles to any given node is allowed.
