2496282 - Settlement calendar generation logic and maintenance in WCOCO

Symptom

You are creating a condition contract in transaction WCOCO, for which the contract's validity end is more than 5 years from current date.

You have maintained final and/or partial settlement calendar(s) either in the condition contract settlement customizing activity or in the header of the condition contract (Settlement calendar tab).

Regarding the generation of settlement dates, you may experience the following:

  1. When you generate the settlement dates manually, you experience, that by default, instead of the contract's actual validity date, it proposes the valid to date for calendar generation as follows: contract's validity end date minus 5 years.
  2. Alternatively, if settlement dates are not generated manually (but automatically by the system during document saving) when you open the condition contract after saving, you find that settlement dates were created until the contract's validity end date minus 5 years
