2496339 - Create index with online encountered error message 8233 - SAP ASE

Symptom

While running:

  • create index with online - for example:
    create index test_index on test_table (a ASC) with online local index
  • Then from another isql window, run the procedure which would access test_table and the following error will happen:
    Number (8233) Severity (16) State (1) Server (SERVERAME) CREATE INDEX WITH ONLINE operation is in progress on the object 'test_table' in database 'XXX'. Retry your query later.
