2496889 - Mapped fields not updating in real-time after edit

When mapping fields from EC to EP via the HRIS Sync Mappings  the corresponding field EP (Profile) portlet is not updating in real-time after edit.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Make a change to a field that is mapped to a EP field via a HRIS Sync Mapping during Edit.

After editing a field in an EC portlet, such as Personal Information, the system will only refresh the data in that portlet not the entier page. This will make it look like the sync of data has not carried out.

A refresh of the page is required to show the sync of data.

For example below the EC ‘Birth Name’ is set to populate EP ‘Display Name’. After editing 'Birth Name' it appears as though the sync has not occured as differnt values are maintained in both fields:

However after refreshing the page, you can see the value has successfully synced across to EP:
