Symptom

Within Process Integration (PI), a message getting processed by the SOAP Adapter fails with one or more of the following errors:

  • Couldn''t deliver sync response message to XI RA, due to LOOP_IN_MESSAGE_ROUTING
  • Marked transaction for rollback for meesage 9a6cda24-4b02-1ed7-93ab-da16d3d48b92(INBOUND). Reason: LOOP_IN_MESSAGE_ROUTING
  • Catching com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: LOOP_IN_MESSAGE_ROUTING
