• SuccessFactors Employee Profile (EP) - Job Profile Builder

1. When we Create a skills through the import with the description field containing the special characters, we need to update the import file with special characters: go to Manage Job Profile Contents Import/Export.

2. Once the import is successful, the new created skills will display correctly under Manage Job Profile Content > Skills

3. If we perform the export of the newly created skills through Manage Job Profile Import/Export the special characters in the .csv file will be automatically converted to html tags in the export file.

Note: If you export the file, is expected to have special characters in the .csv file.

4. Even if we create the skill manually with special characters when we perform the export of the created skills through Manage Job Profile Import/Export the special characters in the .csv file will be automatically converted to html tags in the export file. Do take note that the content in the description field will be displayed as a paragraph and you need to choose the file  encoding as Unicode(UTF-8) since you are using special characters.
