2499189 - SAPSetData returns "#VALUE!" when the Member Combination does not exist in Planning Buffer

SAPSetData returns "#VALUE!".

1. In AO, if use SAPSetData for an existing value as below, it works fine.
   
   
2. But, if use SAPSetData for non existing value, it does not work.
   
   

SAPSetData only can be used to update the data which the Member Combination exists in Planning Buffer or Cube. If the Member Combination does not exist, it will return "#VALUE!".

This is a limitation. Now SAPSetData cannot be used to insert new data in Planning Buffer or Cube.

As a workaround, you can input the data in new lines first in a planning query and click the "Recalculate" button in the ribbon to add the data to Planning Buffer, then SAPSetData works.

3. Now, the new value is in planning buffer, so SAPSetData works.
