2499701 - Incoming 3PL Message With Errors

The Incoming Message XXX from your Business Partner / Communication System contains errors. The message is trying to process an Outbound Delivery Execution Confirmation and create an Outbound Delivery.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Application and User Management work center
2. Choose Business Communication Monitoring view
3. Search for the message XXX

The Status Information is:

Errors reported by Application: “Error while creating or updating follow-up document”, “Reference order item rejected; changes not allowed”, “Outbnd dlvry creation not possible; referenced 3PL request is rejected.”

XXX = Message ID

The Delivery Request is rejected. Although the item is not rejected on 3PL Request, the system considers the Delivery Request Status too. If you reject the items after they were previously received and also rejected on all documents (i.e. Sales Order), it gets canceled. If the item is rejected only on the Delivery Request, the status stays only rejected.

The system is working as designed as the Delivery Request is rejected.
