2499759 - HANA Spark Controller Fails to Start with Error "Unable to instantiate org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.metadata.SessionHiveMetaStoreClient"

Symptom

Starting Spark Controller 2.0 and higher fails with error similar to below when connecting with Hive remote source:

INFO CommandRouterDefault: Connecting to Hive MetaStore!
INFO HanaHiveSQLContext: Initializing execution hive, version 1.2.1
java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to instantiate org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.metadata.SessionHiveMetaStoreClient
