2500356 - Sales Quote Preview Displays Tags

Symptom

Sales Quote form template displays tags.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales work centre.
  2. Select the Sales Quotes view.
  3. Open sales quote ABC (ABC represents the name of the sales quote).
  4. Click the Actions button.
  5. Select the Preview option.
  6. You see that the test is displayed with tags.

Cause

The wrong binding was usedin the form template.

Resolution

In order to have the text displayed as simple text in the form template the following binding has to be used TextCollection.Text[*].ContentText.

If binding FormattedText.Text[*].ContentText is used then the formatted text including tags is displayed in the sales quote form template.
