2500539 - FSD custom batch processing error in MS SQL Server

Symptom

You are processing a large number of FSD with a custom batch report; for example, to transfer to a business data warehouse.  The batch process dumps with the following errors:

  • While executing determination "MAINTAIN_ICHRG_CALCBASIS_DESC" of node "ITEMCHRGELEMENTCALCBASIS" of business object "/SCMTMS/TCC_TRNSP_CHRG" an exception has occurred. The method "EXECUTE" of class "/SCMTMS/CL_TRNSPCHRG_D_BASE" contains errors, which are described in the exception chain below. Please open a ticket to the responsible component "TM-TCC"!
  • The range of the statement to be passed to the database is too wide, CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB, Program:/SCMTMS/CL_TCM_CUST_ACCESS====CP

However, if you process the FSD in smaller batches, the batch report is successful.
