2501191 - BRFPLUS Support Team Determination rule fails with info message "is not equal to *" for the provided SAP component

Symptom

  • The Action "Find Support Team Responsible by FDT Rule" (based on action definition SMIN_STD_FIND_PARTNER_FDT) fails to execute successfully in an Incident and no Support Team is determined
  • In the logs of a simulation for an FDT rule in BRFPLUS which selects a Support Team based on SAP component, you encounter an information log (where "##-##-##" is a specific SAP Component, such as SV-SMG-SUP, etc.):
    SAP Component (SAP_COMPONENT) value ##-##-## is not equal to *
