2501526 - Euro character not displaying in Text Editor field

Symptom

  • In MM02 > Additional Data >Basic Data Text, it is not possible to enter the EURO sign at the text box.
  • When typing the eur sign, only a blank space appears. And when Switching to "Edit", an # is shown.
  • Same behavior happens in other transactions with text editor. Ex. QM01, IQS1
  • This is happening in SAP logon path version 740 - 13
  • Press Alt + 0128. It works fine.
  • Product, Release independent error.
