2501574 - How to maintain translation for Analytical Custom Objects in Language Adaptation tool

You would like to translate the custom report, report view or other report details using the language adaptation tool.

SAP Cloud for Customer

Steps to follow:

1. Go to the Administrator Work Center.
2. Go to the General Settings view.
3. Select Language Adaptation>New.
4. Fill the details Source and Target Language along with name and ID.
5. Click Save and Open.
6. Click on Edit.
7. Select Get Analytical Report Texts (if you wish to translate report texts like views, selections, key figures, extension fields etc).
8. Click on Collect text.
9. Navigate to Report Texts tab after collection of texts.
10. Maintain the Target Text against the Source Text of corresponding field (View, Characteristics, Report name, Dashboard filter or Key figure etc) you can do a filter to search to find the Source Text field.
11. Once you finished maintaining translations for all the required fields, please click on save.

Please note the ID cannot be edited once saved, if you would like to maintain translation for any new objects. You need to create a new translation ID and follow the same process as above.
